It is always impressive to see what people can do with paper – bonus points if they do those things in miniature. Enter Nayan Shrimali and Vaishali Chudasama, two artists who run a studio in India. Together they are working on a project called 365 Days of Miniature where they create a mini bird sculpture a day. The realism and details in these tiny birds is amazing.
Here is what they had to say about the project:
These artworks are part of our 365 days of miniature series which we started on 1st January 2018. We choose BIRDS as our topic of art. Each bird is made by cutting it in different layers on paper and than painted with water colors and hand assembled to give a final 2.5 Dimensional look. Each artwork took from 4-6 hours to finish. We enjoyed each bird everyday and learned a lot about birds and their nature while making them.
Being a bit of a bird fan myself I find the creativity and intricacy of this project is impressive. Also, you can buy these birds!
