With just a scalpel, French-Canadian artist Myriam Dion intricately cuts stained glass and lace-like designs into the front pages of international newspapers. I really admire this work. At first glance this work might seem really tedious, but having done similar type of work in mosaics and paper quilling I can say that this type of work is actually very relaxing. There is something about being able to lose yourself in the repetition of patterns.
Looking at this beautiful work brings back pleasant memories.
