I have always loved the sculptures by Alberto Giacometti. The elongated figures always look so abstractly beautiful. I have seen a couple of his pieces in person and I love their distinct solitude and expressiveness. I admire work by artists that have a distinct look about them. Work that is instantly recognizable as theirs. They have a unique way of bringing you into their view of the world.
